Valley Thunder was created by parents and players living in the Skagit Valley. The goal was to start a program to promote youth soccer in a safe environment open to ages starting from 4 to 12 years of age. Valley Thunder operates in a recreational environment playing in the winter months at the YMCA Sports Center. The coaches and volunteers of Valley Thunder believe that no young player should be denied the right to play the game of soccer due to financial concerns of a family. Valley Thunder Youth Soccer and the YMCA are proud to have a sponsored player program in place for the families of Skagit County that cannot afford players fees. Valley Thunder Players follow a strict code of conduct that is listed below.

Winter Session under way All Teams Full. Teams have a limit of 14 players for the Winter session. So register now!
Week ONE:
Teams did great! The U 5/6 had some meltdowns to deal with, after that they got out there and scored some goals! Jessie W, Grace Anderson all were scoring machines!
U/7-8 Wyatt, the Star of the goal! 10 Saves! We had 5 new players on the field for there first time. The team did a great job!
U/ 9-10 Sundays game was a good one! We played a very good Blue team that really gave the kids a run for the money! The team did a great job for there first game with all the new players. Keep it up!
U 12 Sundays game was a tuff one. The team did a good job of keep down there shots. Kody had some great saves, Austin and the forwards keep the pressure up with a lot of shots on goal. Good Job!

FALL INDOOR LEAGUE SIGN UPS:
It is time to sign up your player for the fall YMCA INDOOR soccer season! The Second session will start in end of January 2009. If you are interested please go to our registration page and fill out for each player. The cost will be $ 60.00 for a player, family discounts will be offered upon request.
